Introduction
The Celts referred to certain locations as "thin places," where the divide between the human world and that of the Divine, between past, present and future becomes very narrow, sheer. These are sacred, magical places. But, you don't need to travel the Earth to find such a place. Those places are here, in the heart. In our hands. In our lives.
In Reiki, the Eastern art of hands-on healing, there is a symbol that brings that place to the here and now. It resides in each soul, awaiting only for the seeker to "attune" to it. The symbol translates as a sentence that means "no past, no present, no future."
It is the energy that transmits healing across distance, time and space. It is within us and without us. By use of this symbol, present life traumas can be reprogrammed so that they literally change the future. Past life patterns can be be uncovered and released, karmic debts resolved.
In Native American Hopi prophecy, it is said that the Earth only awaits for the people, her children, to awaken to her needs, to join in meditation and prayer, to heal themselves and the Earth.
In Judaism, it is said that there are at all times certain people (often without knowing it themselves) called the lamed-vav whose sole purpose on this Earth is to offer compassion for the living; that, without them, the world would not exist.
In the Dead Sea Scrolls, the Essenes, who are believed to have taught Jesus as a child, speak of the Divine in each one of us, that our bodies are containers for the children of God, limited, but offering the one chance to experience life; we have only to discover that hidden place where we can spark the full measure of heaven on Earth.
In ancient Greece, it was said that each soul chooses the time, place and personality for birth upon this Earth (often referred to as recorded in a Divine book, the Akashic Records). We often stray from the paths that our preborn souls and our guides have chosen for us, so we may need reminding. Such "reminders" are said to be "defining moments" in life, often brought by synchronicity.
You would not be reading this if you did not have a glimmer of that spark, that hint of eternal power that transcends all earthly matter, that being or "child within" each and every one of us that is hidden beneath all the layers of guilt, pain, suffering, separation and ego that deserves to love and be loved, to feel compassion, forgiveness, gentleness, enlightened self-sufficiency and responsibility -- in essence, true freedom.
A number of disciplines are coming together in this time and in this place to explain the link between our inner and outer lives.
They embrace the ancient science of prophecy from the Bible, from Native American oral tradition; they use the technology of shamanic journeying, transcendental meditation, Reiki, Shiatsu, therapeutic massage and other energy therapies and vibrational healing techniques to awaken human potential to its fullest, slumbering within each one of us.
They utilize prescriptions handed down through African mythologies, Buddhist paradigms and inner discoveries ... they span the Earth and are as old as humankind, and as "new" as the misnomer "New Age."
These philosophical frameworks are technologies for inner and outer growth, for healing our Earth, ourselves.
New advances are being found every day in science that heretofore were relegated to the "occult," the "mysterious," or "pure speculation."
They include quantum mechanics proving that an atom can be "two places at once," that the mere act of observing a phenomenon can change it on the atomic level, that the DNA helix can actually be affected on the cellular level by focusing attention on it, that our brains are not the center of thought, but our bodies hold memories, some possibly from previous lifetimes, and other areas of inquiry that are being amassed and documented by previously staid and skeptical researchers.
This is the most important time to be alive for any human being. We are on the threshold of a new world that only awaits our enlightened grasp.
The new emphasis of changing the actual physical composition of the Earth (transmutation) and affecting entire populations toward world peace through mass prayer and meditation are gaining acceptance.
This world movement could be the spiritual "growth industry" of a generation, so powerful as to make Martin Luther's tacking of the 95 Theses on his church house door only a footnote to the scope of the world revolution/evolution to come.
Our entire species has been waiting for this moment to create a new and exciting future for generations yet unborn.
And that path starts here. Now.
We are living in a time when global communication is immediate, when information that in previous generations took lifetimes to gather is fed instantaneously to the world "grid" of the Internet.
This offers an explosion of new ideas for testing, exploration, refinement and promotion that previously took an "Age of Science" or an "Age of Reason" to fully integrate.
Now, that integration of new ideas, new outlooks, new ways of being takes days, months, a few years at most.
A mere mention here in cyberspace can prompt concepts to be adopted into daily use and common understanding that were hidden or obscured by language, culture or physical barriers for hundreds of years (e.g., Native American herbal healing, Asian acupuncture, Tibetan chakra balancing, et al.).
We live in the balance of the old and the new, the ancient and the modern, and are on the verge of throwing off the last vestiges of European cultural chauvinism that commanded the view that only Western ideas were "provable" and, hence, "civilized," or worth adopting into our beliefs, our reality.
Yet, it is the blending of this Western scientific rationalism and indigenous spiritual faith that can prove to be the salvation of our Earth, ourselves.
We no longer live in the mechanistic universe of Sir Isaac Newton, where scientific discovery progressed by sailing ship and fortnight post.
We have left Gutenberg in the dust and Marconi in the discarded vacuum tube, in exchange for the modern "crystal balls" of the computer chip (which literally are of quartz crystals mined from the Earth), with the advancement of knowledge through cyberspace at an unheard of pace.
Marshall McLuhan's then-breakthrough idea 30 years ago of a global community is so basic today as be seen as archaic. Global consciousness is not an idea but an everyday reality.
We have become a global marketplace of ideas where a whisper in Siberia becomes a market rumble on Wall Street, the image of the Dalai Lama is more recognizable worldwide than Coca-Cola was when His Holiness was born, and watching missiles falling in Tel Aviv in "real time" on CNN is the stuff of reruns from a previous presidential administration.
Given the threats to the Earth today, through overpopulation, pollution, global warming, it is imperative that each person take responsibility for him or herself as a citizen of the world.
We must not only embrace personal change -- meeting the challenge of being a compassionate, proactive people in our personal lives -- but in healing our globe using every tool at our command, physical and metaphysical.
We are spiritual beings in human bodies. We have only begun to discover the miracles within us that await the call to awaken -- to become the Buddha, from the Sanskrit root word "budh" that simply means "to know" or "to wake up" -- to the true realities of our Earth, ourselves.
With this Web page, readings and insights, journeys and speculations can be offered that can aid in your spiritual journey, in finding the truth, your truth, the truth that sets us free to heal our Earth, ourselves.
The Creator, our guides, the angels and the Earth itself are giving humankind a universal call to awaken and heal our Earth, ourselves.
With all the tools and techniques, ancient technologies and modern stratagems at our command, people of faith and rigorous honesty can join to create the type of reality that is healthy for our children and fertile for growth, individually and for all, creating a world that we all may be honored by and prosper within.
If we fail to follow the teachings of our hearts with courage to dissolve pessimism and open our minds to dispel doubt, we will be condemned to live out our fears and watch our dreams fade, our hopes wither, our humanity devolve into selfish mindlessness as the planet dies from our civilization's waste.
As spiritual beings, we have a mission on this globe to find peace and build compassion, construct our lives and cities and societies into nurturing environments in concert with our souls' purpose.
The most basic questions every soul incarnate of every enlightened society has asked are: Who am I? Why am I here? What is the Creator's purpose for me?
We cannot wait for or expect governments to find the answers that dwell within each and every one of us.
We cannot as citizens of the Earth expect our neighbors to make the sacrifice, to drop pretensions and have the courage to stray from the narrow, comfortable expectations of others, without accepting that responsibility ourselves.
Healing the Earth begins with ourselves. It is not the duty of a faraway seer, a guru on a mountaintop, or great leader far removed from our daily lives.
It begins with healing ourselves, touching our own humanity and greatness in little moments of inspiration.
It is expressed through the time-honored concepts of forgiveness, compassion, prayer and meditation.
It is honed by focusing on the goodness surrounding us and within us and experiencing that reality around us, extending our own divinity and hope through daily practices.
Through developing, loving and healing ourselves, we empower faith in others and open a door for our physical universe to heal and evolve.
If we accept the challenge of these questions (Who am I? Why am I here? What is the Creator's purpose for me?) -- either as spiritual warriors who see every overt act as a prayer, or as simply loving beings who go within to change the world through dreaming -- we each have roles to play doing the heavy lifting of building the heaven of our own choosing on Earth.
Let us join to heal our Earth, ourselves. Let us each become one with the Source to live out the lines in the book of life that were written when we chose to be born on this planet.
Let us, black, white, brown, yellow, red, join our sacred hearts, compassionate minds and willing hands to the task of healing the Earth, ourselves.
Let us begin the journey.
It is my prayer that anyone who cares to look here will find a personal solution for healing self and others, our Earth, ourselves.
By offering this page, I pray the Creator, guides and angels will use this medium to bring home the message of human and global salvation.
Blessings upon us and all our relations.
Blessed be.
Aho.
Amen.
