Treatment, Programs, Classes
Programs, classes and services are offered throughout the year, some for a fee, some free (For prices, see: Prices; There is no charge for ceremonies; see Ugista ‘ti):

-- Reiki:
Treatment by appointment; classes scheduled regularly. Individual
instruction welcomed. See below.

-- Shamanism:
Treatment by appointment. Soul retrieval (returning lost essence), energetic cleansing, removing spiritual intrusions, restoring power animals, readings, and other services are offered. We offer individual instruction, in a limited manner. For more information, call or write blueskywaters@att.net.

-- Past-life Regression:
Treatment by appointment. We use a very gentle, non-intrusive guided
meditation based on the work of Dr. Brian Weiss, M.D. The purpose of the meditation is to relax and ease into a state where past-life memories can come forward to consciousness from the subconscious. Experiences range from very brief memories, to very detailed. Sessions generally last about 45 minutes. When done repeatedly, it can show patterns in lifetimes that need addressing, or insights into personality and interests, or help explain aversions, habits, fears and ailments. -- Long-Distance Energy Work/Treatment:
All energy medicine modalities are done in "all-time, no-time," so time and distance make no difference. Some techniques can only be practiced in proximity; but most are equally potent near or far. Call or write to inquire blueskywaters@att.net.

-- Lectures/Consultation:
Talks, demonstrations or lectures (including overview of shamanism, how to start a Drum Circle, comparative energy modalities, etc.) or for classes or personal instruction in Reiki or shamanism, or services, treatment or consultation, regarding Reiki or shamanism can be arranged. -- Drum Circle:
The New Millennium Drum Circle in Lena (founded in 1999 and continually operating since then) is freely offered as a gift of the heart, in sharing and service for all who wish to attend. It is held (usually) monthly and incorporates the Native American Medicine Wheel as a prayer ceremony. There is no formal membership, no dues, or
requirements except that those who attend honor the ceremonies, respect one another and enjoy fellowship in peaceful, loving manner. We do ask that people bring food to share with others. You do not have to own a drum or rattle to participate. It is an informal gathering, and all are welcome (children included!) to this sacred ceremony. -- Newsletter:
The E-mail newsletter "Keeping In Touch . . ." on local events, insights,
classes, etc., is sent free to all Drum Circle members, graduates of the
Foundation for Shamanic Studies workshops we sponsor, local and long-distance clients and interested others. It comes out monthly, and has subscribers across the United States and in several foreign countries, including Great Britain, France, Germany, The Netherlands, Switzerland, Canada, Mexico, Japan, Australia . . . To subscribe, write blueskywaters@att.net and include your full name; where you are located is optional, but it's nice to know. If you wish to unsubscribe, simply write "unsubscribe" in the message field by reply and you will be taken off the list. The newsletter is sent out with names blank for privacy purposes and the list is not shared with anyone or any organization.

Reiki Classes:

Usui/Tibetan
Reiki I teaches basics of Reiki, history and healing techniques, plus Reiki I attunement, in the Usui/Tibetan tradition.
Reiki II teaches symbols and their use, including long distance healing, and Reiki II attunement, in the Usui/Tibetan tradition.
ART teaches healing techniques that are shared with other modalities,
including scanning, beaming, removing spiritual intrusions (or psychic
surgery), using crystals in healing work, and other techniques, along with attunement with the Usui Master symbol.
Full Usui/Tibetan Reiki Master training includes all of the above, plus
ability to give attunements.

Karuna ReikiŽ

A pre-requisite for Karuna ReikiŽ training is that one must be a Reiki Master for one year before taking the classes; this can include ART (Master IIIa) but not Master IIIb (full Reiki Master with attunement ability).
Karuna ReikiŽ Practitioner I
4 Symbols. A certificate and a manual is included with in depth
descriptions of each symbol and their use. Certification will include
registration with the International Center for Reiki Training.
In general: Learn to help heal karmic issues, cellular memory,
relationships, break up negative patterns in the unconscious, develop good habits, clear rooms of negative energies - and more.
The first symbol prepares the client for deep healing and is useful with
past life issues. It helps release karma and deeply seated issues on the
cellular level. The second symbol heals deeply and can be used to breakup the negative patterns we unconsciously use to insulate ourselves from the truth, thus shattering delusion and denial. It heals the shadow self. The third symbol fills the person with love and restores balance. The fourth symbol completes the treatment by bringing the client back into the body and grounding.
We will also use guided meditation to help ground, center and discover
hidden potential and use chanting and toning with Karuna ReikiŽ to help break up specific blocks and/or connect with higher energies.

Karuna ReikiŽ Practitioner II
4 Symbols. A certificate and a manual is included with in depth descriptions of each symbol and their use. Certification will include registration with the International Center for Reiki Training.
In general: This carries the training to the next level to improve learning abilities, creativity and communication skills, ability to prioritize, help heal co-dependent and addictive behaviors, claim your power, help heal fear and panic, increases clairvoyance, heal the earth - and more.
The four Karuna ReikiŽ II symbols are of a higher vibration and more
powerful. They help connect directly with the Higher Self and work on a
deeper level.
We will also be doing a Reiki meditation to be aware of and heal the Shadow Self and using chanting and toning with Karuna ReikiŽ to help break up specific blocks and/or connect with higher energies.
