BEAR BERRY Y NECKLACE

Summer berries are starting to ripen here, a favorite bear food. These centerpiece 'beads' of green opal from Artbeads, reminded me of ripening berries, with their purplish, green, and red tones. They are 'knitted' beads, strung together to form a perfect hollow sphere. The happy Black Bear is intricately glazed clay, other beads are faceted unakite, jet, brecciated jasper, red jasper, carved quartz crystal (leaf), carved rainforest jasper(rhyolite) and sterling silver. Bear is one of the healing totems, and all green gemstones Aare used traditionally for healing, especially heart/emotional healing.
