Pelican Dance Necklace

A limerick by Edward Lear:

A wonderful bird is the Pelican.
His beak can hold more than his belly can.
He can hold in his beak
Enough food for a week!
But I'll be darned if I know how the hellican?

This pelican is hand carved in tourmailinated amazonite--it is a natural stone, and has a crystaline cavity above the pelican's eye, I don't consider this a flaw, but a natural imperfection...It is strung with shells, rainbow amazonite, tourmailine amazonite and sterling silver beads.
