NOTE: One or more Reiki attunements,
knowledge of Reiki concepts and history,
and some experience working with it are prerequisite
(along with journeying experience) for the Reiki Shamanism courses.
Reiki One and Two
Faculty: Annette Waya Ewing
Prerequisites for Reiki 1 and 2 Classes: None
This class is taught, and attunements given by Annette Waya Ewing, on an individual basis. Annette will assess whether the student is eligible to receive both Reiki One and Two attunements together, or whether it is best to begin with Reiki One only.

Tuition:
Reiki 1 attunement and instruction: $100.00
Reiki 2 attunement and instruction: $150.00
Reiki 1 and 2 combined attunement and instruction: $225.00
Reiki I teaches basics of Reiki, history and healing techniques, plus Reiki I attunement, in the Usui/Tibetan tradition.
Reiki II teaches symbols and their use, including long distance healing, and Reiki II attunement, in the Usui/Tibetan tradition.
Combined, the Reiki I&II class teaches the above, plus attunement, instruction, demonstrations and hands-on training.
This training will prepare you for Reiki Master (III) or Advanced Reiki Training (IIIa), either of which is required for Karuna Reiki® instruction.
Instruction:
Annette Waya teaches the basic competencies covered the textbook, then adds additional or supplemental material as appropriate to the learner's needs and interests. Her teaching style is highly interactive and hands-on.
Classes:
These are tailored to indiviual student needs and interests, to a large extent. The attunement and initial lessons take a few hours. After this, students typically come back for a several sessions, until they feel confident on their own. Her goals in teaching are to guide students into competency with the concepts, and to help them to integrate Reiki into their daily lives for their own well being as well as others. Annette Waya is always available to her students via email or phone, should they have any questions or concerns.
Certificate:
A certificate(s) will be given upon successful completion of Reiki One and Two.

I gave C. his Reiki I and II attunements yesterday. I did as you said and made up my own meditation to relax him. During his attunement he gained a new spirit guide- the great horned owl.
