Programs, classes and services are offered throughout the year, some for a fee, some free.

As of June 2008, I have made a few changes.

First, the soul retrieval process has been expanded and price upgraded to $200 from $100. This reflects the economy (average national prices for similar services) and still is at the regional level, which is lower than in the large cities. It also reflects the nature of the treatment. A person is unlikely to need more than one, possibly two, and probably no more than three soul retrievals in a lifetime. While everyone experiences some soul loss, and some a lot more than others, given traumatic circumstances such as severe illness, severe injury, longterm disease, divorce or other issues, it's still a heavy duty procedure that requires considerable expertise and not a little preparation on my part to perform.

Our treatment and services prices are still well below those in large cities, and we frequently have clients come to us both for treatment and training because it's cheaper to come here and stay a few days then to travel to a large city where the prices for both treatment and/or training and food and lodging is much higher. We've had people come from as far away as Japan because, they say, it's cheaper, quicker and we provide more intensive, in-depth training and expertise than is found there.

We also instituted a new rule whereby those seeking treatment must include a $40 non-refundable deposit with the completed client form. This is because we are receiving so many requests that require journeying and preparation, as well as a written report, for which we received no remuneration. It seems many people have been filling out the form and sending it in, so that I would do the journey, see what was needed, or not, and write a report, and then receive no response or a 'thanks but no thanks' response.

Meanwhile, people who really needed help were being put off because my time is limited and can only treat so many people at a time. Journeying, for me at least, is not a spur of the moment thing. I have to prepare myself and be in the right frame of mind, and the conditions have to be right. It's not something that I can "switch on" or "switch off" at a whim. Then, it takes time to write up what I saw and report it to the person, and set up a mutually agreeable appointment, etc.

The deposit covers my time (often what's seen in the journey alone is the only "treatment" needed) or at least part of it, and if any further attention is required, it will be applied to it. We still offer plenty of "free" things, and, of course, we do not charge for ceremony. (See ugista ti, for more information about traditional practices.)

There is only one of me, and there's only so much time in a day. Fulfilling all requests is impossible, I regret to say. This perhaps, also, could lessen any disappointments from not taking timely action.

A word to the wise. In traditional Native culture, the quickest way to get help is to talk to the medicine man's wife; we're no different here. Annette Waya knows what I do and how I do what I do and has considerable training and expertise herself - some of her abilities are greater than my own. She often fills in for me at various functions and has her own medicine ways that are in demand. For example, she has established a burgeoning Reiki practice that occupies her time, as well, and will be offering classes on her own. The New Millennium Drum Circle in Lena (founded in 1999 and continually operating since then) is freely offered as a gift of the heart, in sharing and service for all who wish to attend. It is held (usually) monthly and incorporates the Native American Medicine Wheel as a prayer ceremony. There is no formal membership, no dues, or
requirements except that those who attend honor the ceremonies, respect one another and enjoy fellowship in peaceful, loving manner. We do ask that people bring food to share with others. You do not have to own a drum or rattle to participate. It is an informal gathering, and all are welcome (children included!) to this sacred ceremony. For more information, Contact me by email >

Usui/Tibetan
Reiki I teaches basics of Reiki, history and healing techniques, plus Reiki I attunement, in the Usui/Tibetan tradition.
Reiki II teaches symbols and their use, including long distance healing, and Reiki II attunement, in the Usui/Tibetan tradition.
ART teaches healing techniques that are shared with other modalities,
including scanning, beaming, removing spiritual intrusions (or psychic
surgery), using crystals in healing work, and other techniques, along with attunement with the Usui Master symbol.
Full Usui/Tibetan Reiki Master training includes all of the above, plus
ability to give attunements.

Karuna Reiki® CLASSES
A pre-requisite for Karuna Reiki® training is that one must be a Reiki Master for one year before taking the classes; this can include ART (Master IIIa) but not Master IIIb (full Reiki Master with attunement ability).
Karuna Reiki® Practitioner I
4 Symbols. A certificate and a manual is included with in depth
descriptions of each symbol and their use. Certification will include
registration with the International Center for Reiki Training.
In general: Learn to help heal karmic issues, cellular memory,
relationships, break up negative patterns in the unconscious, develop good habits, clear rooms of negative energies - and more.
The first symbol prepares the client for deep healing and is useful with
past life issues. It helps release karma and deeply seated issues on the
cellular level. The second symbol heals deeply and can be used to breakup the negative patterns we unconsciously use to insulate ourselves from the truth, thus shattering delusion and denial. It heals the shadow self. The third symbol fills the person with love and restores balance. The fourth symbol completes the treatment by bringing the client back into the body and grounding.
We will also use guided meditation to help ground, center and discover
hidden potential and use chanting and toning with Karuna Reiki® to help break up specific blocks and/or connect with higher energies.

Karuna Reiki® Practitioner II
4 Symbols. A certificate and a manual is included with in depth descriptions of each symbol and their use. Certification will include registration with the International Center for Reiki Training.
In general: This carries the training to the next level to improve learning abilities, creativity and communication skills, ability to prioritize, help heal co-dependent and addictive behaviors, claim your power, help heal fear and panic, increases clairvoyance, heal the earth - and more.
The four Karuna Reiki® II symbols are of a higher vibration and more
powerful. They help connect directly with the Higher Self and work on a
deeper level.
We will also be doing a Reiki meditation to be aware of and heal the Shadow Self and using chanting and toning with Karuna Reiki® to help break up specific blocks and/or connect with higher energies.
